Busy Bees

Anna sews a quilt she just decided to start which she will forget about by the end of the day.
Ryan programs his Lego Robot before the practice starts this morning.  The theme this year is elderly people.  Can you see the Lego quilts near the front of the board?
Mom quilts Smith Mountain Morning using freehand Baptist Fans.
Sydney is sleeping off a sleepover and Dad is slow smoking a pork butt on the new grill.
What are you up to this weekend?

Looks like a perfect family day, everyone happily doing their own thing and meeting up occasionally. We've been out shopping this morning, and introducing poor Ruby to the Saturday market day crowds and this afternoon we'll be planting daffodil and crocus bulbs.

I tempted Husband away from the golf course with a promise of lunch at the garden centre where we bought a few little "C" gifts (is it too early to mention the C word?), then hunting for the perfect paint shade for our newly plastered guest room.
I did enjoy seeing your baptist fan quilting. I love the combination of blue and brown, I always get inspired when I visit here :-)

What a fun day! We are headed out the door to watch the grands play soccer.
6 & 7 years olds and 4 & 5 year olds. Fun times ahead!
Later I sew while hubby "plays" outside.

Everyone looks so busy. Drama Teen had a volleyball game this moring. Add in the 2 hour drive down and back, plus lunch and a stop at Whole Foods, Saturday is pretty much shot.
