Out of Harms Way

Given the recent peril of Flamingo Bay, I decided that the quilt on the frame needed to get done soon.  The quilting in the center is just  regular old meander.  The middle border has ribbon candy, and the outer border is an attempt at feathers.  I am thinking red binding and I will call this one done.
The back is an assortment of 10 inch squares that finished off most of the Christmas Stash.

Another finish??? You are like a factory over there!!! If you show off another finish tomorrow I'll just faint with amazement ;*)

I really like the simplicity of this one. Reds and greens but in a really nice scrappy pattern. What a super way to use up scraps and make a fun quilt in special colors for someone!

And you did a really great job on your feathered border - way to go!!!

I guess with recent events, that was even more motivation to get even more done than you were getting done already. I did a little sewing this morning while dear hubby went back to bed for a nap, right after waking up. Me I took my nap at 3pm when we came home for a break.

A great Christmas quilt to enjoy this year! Hopefully Santa will bring you more fabrics to enhance your Christmas stash since you used it all up on this quilt!!

You certainly do get a lot done -- even though you are back at work!
