Scrap Happy Saturday -- Last Orange Saturday

Today is the last orange Saturday.  Time to finish off all the odds and ends.  I was pretty sure I was out of orange scraps pretty early in the month, but I did find these partial crumb blocks hiding in a drawer somewhere.  Then I made a few more scraps during the geese sewing for Hawaii Sunset.  All in all, there are probably enough bits and pieces here for a few blocks.  What are you up to today?  Use the linky below to share your progress.

Those scraps are multiplying like rabbits when you turn out the lights in the sewing room!!

I'll bet you find a few more next month too! They seem to wander and hide under things when we leave the room. Have fun sewing today.

I have enough scraps and crumbs in my copy paper box lids to do another rainbow challenge year.
Because I had set aside more that enough strips this year to make a quilt top, I went ahead and sewed them together. Do you want me to share that with Mister Linky today? Or in December?

Sad to see the end of the orange month - there've been some lovely bright things going on ! I wonder what colour we'll use next ?

I don't have any orange scraps yet. I will once I get going on the OSU quilt.

I've really enjoyed the Rainbow Scrap Challenge. Thanks for hosting.

I've absolutely loved orange this month, and was very surprised to find very little in my stash, I'm inspired and want to use more orange. It's been a bright month, thanks Angela.

Aaarggh I never got to post a last orange but I do have one in progress. I think I will be working on throughout October too. I'm going off on quilt retreat tomorrow to Orkney (I'm praying for a calm sea crossing over the Pentland Firth) So I've been busy cutting and cutting and cutting blocks for a very old ufo which I hope at least to finish the blocks while away. Oh and I've also been at a couple of Dear Jane blocks too.
I hope you have plenty of sunshine where you are. Elly
