Tiny Tuesday - Uncle Homer

This was a super simple traditionally pieced block.
It would have been even simpler if I hadn't accidentally used cream background fabric the first time instead of white.  The light in the family room really isn't ideal for quilting.

DJ Count 8 blocks 0 triangles 50 pieces

Nice and simple. Love it.... and that fabric looks like some I now have in my stash! You are doing great on these blocks.

I am hoping to get started on my first blocks this weekend. Do a few easy machine ones, and prep a few applique ones for work. Sometimes the white and cream fabrics are so close together.

I've done that before -- used "natural" instead of white but it was for fused appliqué so the blocks are staying! It'll be a scrappy quilt so hopefully no one will notice too much!
